Spam (Junk Email), Virus,
and Scam mailings from this Domain  :

Spammers, Scammers and virus mailers have found new ways to avoid detection.
There has been a recent surge in such email having it's "From" address forged to appear coming from someone else other than the sender. As a result, more and more, people are receiving virus and spam emails that appear to come from legitimate domain names that did not really send the message ...

Sober Bikers United, Inc. does not send any advertisements
or any other messages to anyone who is not a member of SBU,
other than responding to an email sent to us.

Viruses, spam, and scam messages may sometimes be forged to appear coming from soberbikersunited.org, however, we do not send such mailings and do not allow members/supporters to use our domain for such mailings.

As an individual, you can track down the true origin of an email by expanding the message headers and performing a query of the responsible owners of that IP address. Use those "abuse" reporting addresses to report or forward the message (be sure headers are expanded) to the responsible people. Be sure to change the Subject line to "Virus from your network" or "Forgery/spam from your network" or it may get discarded as spam. Also, be sure to include uce@ftc.gov in the "to" addresses... a Federal Agency that tracks and monitors Internet spam/scams.

Go to this link to track the responsible network persons.
